Maestro is the association of master’s students at the University of Iceland’s Faculty of Business Administration. We bring students together through events, learning, student life and industry connections.

Anyone who wants to be part of Maestro can join, as long as the membership fee is paid.

Membership costs 5,000 ISK for one semester or 7,990 ISK for the academic year.

Autumn-semester membership lasts until the start of the spring semester. Spring-semester and annual membership last until the end of the autumn semester. Offers and benefits may change over summer; new offers are renewed when the autumn semester begins.

Complete the membership form, transfer the fee, and the Maestro board will confirm the payment before activating your membership.

Each event page has a registration panel showing availability, price and the information you need to provide.

You are automatically placed on the waitlist. When a place becomes available, the next person on the waitlist moves to the confirmed list.

There is no registration or capacity limit. Simply come along to the event.

You can cancel from the event page using your email and national ID, or directly from the thank-you page shown after registration. Your place can then go to the next person on the waitlist.

Yes. Contact the Maestro board at maestro@hi.is as soon as possible so we can arrange a refund.

It depends on the event. Payment information appears when payment is required. Membership payments are confirmed by the Maestro board.

Only your name may appear on the public registration list. Your national ID, email address, membership and payment status are visible only to the Maestro board.

Personal information from event registrations is anonymised 90 days after an event ends. Aggregate statistics are retained.
